Located to the left, is a link to a jeopardy review game I created using powerpoint. This review game was created at the end of a social studies unit called "Looking at Our World." This unit consisted of seven lessons. The first lesson was over where things are located; the second lesson was over maps and globes; the third lesson was over parts of a map; the fourth lesson was over land and water; the fifth lesson was over continents and oceans; the sixth lesson was over the environment; and the last lesson was over transportation and weather.
Students really enjoyed this review game. If I had to redo this lesson, I would have set clearer expectations. I had to stop the game because students were fighting and bragging about points and winning. If I had been clear at the beginning and told students we aren't going to brag or make another team feel bad. If that happens we can't play the game. I also would've kept students at their seats and the teams would be those students sitting at each table. |
